A Lead Research Scientist is responsible for leading complex research and development projects from concept through commercialization. This role drives formulation development, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic innovation aligned to business goals.
- Drive Innovation: Develop new product concepts and turn bold ideas into successful products.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with internal & external teams to deliver seamless launches and business results.
- Deliver High-Quality Products: Guide and utilize sensory testing and consumer research to ensure our products meet expectations for flavor, texture, and quality—translating insights into breakthrough formulations.
- Optimize Processes: Lead plant trials and scale-up with technical rigor, troubleshooting challenges and ensuring smooth start-ups.
- Enhance Product Quality and Efficiency: Improve formulas, processes, and workflows to elevate product quality, reduce costs, and boost operational efficiency.
- Stay Ahead of Regulations: Monitor changing ingredient and labeling regulations to ensure compliance and forward-thinking.
- Develop and Mentor Team Members: Coach team members, share technical expertise, and contribute to an inclusive, collaborative R&D culture.
