Test Automation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced software quality engineer to lead quality assurance and test automation for a distributed edge computing platform. Our team delivers a highly distributed private cloud solution supporting containerized applications, virtual machines, and bare metal nodes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for automating tests using test automation tools and code development, collaborating with the software development team to complete ticket cycles, analyzing systems and applications to propose test strategies, participating in technical discussions with customers, coordinating with the development team to drive product quality, and reporting, monitoring, and verifying issues in defect tracking tools.
Responsibilities:- Automate tests using test automation tools and code development;
- Collaborate with the Software Development team to complete ticket cycles;
- Analyze systems and applications to propose test strategies;
- Participate in technical discussions with customers;
- Coordinate with the development team to drive product quality;
- Report, monitor, and verify issues in defect tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
- Experience with Python for testing;
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and containers;
- Ability to create scripts using automated testing tools;
- Experience working on Linux platforms.
- Developing test cases and plans, with the ability to analyze code to identify root causes of issues;
- Experience working with testing tools like Pytest Framework or Cypress;
- Experience in Agile, Scrum, or Kanban environments.
