Data Architect III

Develop and optimize scalable data pipelines to support strategic analysis, working with autonomy to manage activities based on business needs. Collaborate directly with the team and other areas to deliver technical solutions that ensure data quality, performance, and security.

This role involves acting on open or poorly defined scope problems, proposing continuous improvements in processes, and contributing to the team's technical evolution, especially by assisting junior professionals.

Additionally, you will participate in the solution creation process and technical decision-making, ensuring the delivery of sustainable value.

• Develop, optimize, and monitor scalable data pipelines, ensuring quality, security, and observability;
• Act on open-scope problems, collaborating with the direct team and cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions;
• Create ETL/ELT integrations for internal and external sources, following good data engineering practices;
• Use infrastructure as code and versioning to manage the team's data resources;
• Work with data architectures such as data lakes, data warehouses, and BI platforms, applying advanced data modeling techniques;
• Implement access control and data protection functionalities (anonymization, column/row control);
• Resolve pipeline-related alerts and incidents, proposing improvements addressing the root cause of problems;
• Develop complex visualizations and dashboards to support analysis and insight communication;
• Collaborate in the team's technical evolution, acting as a mentor for junior members;
• Contribute to the definition of technical solutions within the team.

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (SQL, Python, Java, etc.) and ability to optimize scripts and pipelines;
• Knowledge in monitoring, automated testing, and pipeline quality guarantee;
• Experience with infrastructure as code and versioning;
• Knowledge and experience in creating and maintaining data environments (data lakes, data warehouses, BI);
• Experience with access control and data protection;
• Experience with advanced data modeling techniques;
• Ability to resolve incidents and propose structural improvement solutions;
• Ability to create complex dashboards and advanced SQL queries (UNION, subqueries, CTEs);
• Domain in at least one visualization tool (Looker, Tableau, Metabase, etc.);
• Good communication skills to work collaboratively with different areas and technical levels;
• Proactivity to identify and resolve demands and workflow improvements.

• Experience in the finance sector;
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and large Data Warehouses (BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks).
