Job Description

The OPEC Analyst is responsible for the scheduling, organization, and insertion of commercial breaks in the playout system.

They ensure compliance with programming instructions (PIs) and accurate execution of the broadcast schedule.

Sporty is expanding its platform to become a world-leading provider of everyday entertainment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the insertion of commercial breaks into the playout system.
  • Evaluate and organize content, promos, and commercials for alignment with established PIs.
  • Control broadcast materials to guarantee availability, technical quality, and correct labeling.
  • Maintain proper organization and regular updates of commercial inventory.
  • Collect and organize commercial broadcast data for reporting and analysis purposes.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in OPEC, channel scheduling, or commercial operations.
  • Familiarity with playout systems and media insertion processes.
  • Experience managing commercial inventory.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and agility in problem-solving.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with teams.
  • Advanced Excel and familiarity with reporting tools.
