Mental Health Specialist

The role of a Clinical Psychologist involves assessing and treating patients with various mental health issues. The individual will provide counseling, psychological assessment, and testing within an outpatient program.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans to address the needs of patients.
- Conduct scientific studies of behavior patterns and cognitive function to identify potential disorders.
- Observe and interview individuals, record interactions, and research psychological, emotional, behavioral or organizational patterns and identify issues.
- Diagnose potential disorders, discuss possible methods of treatment with patients, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical psychology issues and disorders.
- Provide crisis management services for assigned cases and perform appropriate treatment services to assigned clients.
- Participate as a member of the treatment team, attend supervision meetings and staff meetings, and stay current with professional literature and trends in mental health.
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or a related area is required.
- Graduate training in Neuropsychology is highly preferred.
- A 2-year post-doctoral fellowship in Rehabilitation Psychology or Neuropsychology is also desirable.
