Flooring Technician

Floor Coverings International is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual who can work independently and as part of a team to meet the needs of our customers.

• Install Flooring Products: Install flooring products according to company procedures with high attention to detail and care.
• Maintain Tools and Equipment: Keep tools organized and clean and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Understand Scope of Work: Understand the scope of work before arriving at each job and familiarize yourself with project files.
• Operate Company Machinery: Properly handle company machinery and power tools.
• Mathematical Skills: Knowledge of units of measurement and ability to complete simple math calculations.
• Customer Interaction: Interact with customers in a friendly and polite manner, must be trustworthy and comfortable in a customer's home.
• Quality Standards: Ensure high quality company standards are met every time.
• Customer Satisfaction: Work to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction with every aspect of the job.

• Experience: 5 years experience in flooring installation.
• Licensing: Valid driver's license and functioning vehicle.
• Background Check: Ability to pass a background check.
• Lifting Requirements: Ability to lift 50-75 lbs repeatedly.
• Physical Demands: The position requires repetitive crouching, squatting, standing, walking, and lifting.
