The Role

We're seeking an experienced Tech Leader to oversee the development of our VideoServices team. As a key member of our distributed team, you'll be responsible for managing the end-to-end implementation of technical solutions, ensuring consistency and quality across back-end, front-end, and DevOps layers.

Your Responsibilities
  • Analyze and translate business requirements into actionable technical specifications that align with system capabilities and objectives.
  • Oversee and guide technical implementations, managing timelines and ensuring alignment with project goals and business priorities.
  • Strategic release planning and coordination: lead the planning and scheduling of releases, coordinating timelines and ensuring alignment with project goals and business priorities.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration, building efficient communication and collaboration processes across internal teams and coordinating with external partners to maintain alignment and streamline project execution.
  • Evaluate business impact of releases: participate in post-release analysis to assess business impact, evaluate outcomes, and identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor technical performance and resolve incidents: oversee technical metrics, proactively monitor for potential issues, and participate in incident resolution to maintain system stability and reliability.
Your Qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional programming experience: strong expertise in software development, preferably using the .NET framework, with a track record of delivering quality code and system designs.
  • Proven distributed team leadership: skilled in managing and coordinating remote teams, fostering collaboration across time zones, and maintaining high productivity.
  • High-load system development: experienced in designing, building, and scaling high-performance systems that handle significant user traffic and data volumes.
  • Production issue resolution: demonstrated ability to troubleshoot production issues by analyzing technical metrics, investigating user feedback, and forming data-driven hypotheses to resolve root causes effectively.
  • Project management: capable of managing multiple projects concurrently, ensuring each aligns with business goals and adheres to timelines and budgets.
  • Task prioritization: skilled in evaluating task urgency and impact to prioritize effectively, balancing immediate needs with long-term objectives.

  • A competitive salary of $150,000 per year, with opportunities for bonuses up to $50,000.
