Job Overview:
The Financial Director is responsible for spearheading all accounting aspects and overseeing tax compliance functions, encompassing local (BR GAAP/CPC's) and US GAAP financial reporting, annual budgeting processes, and monthly reforecasting. In addition, they drive initiatives for process improvements and motivate teams to strive for high-quality performance.
Main Responsibilities:
- Spearhead and manage all aspects of accounting and oversee tax compliance functions (direct and indirect).
- Build, lead, and develop a highly motivated and world-class team.
- Distribute accurate monthly local and US GAAP financial statements and operational reports based on corporate guidelines, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and legislation.
- Develop an annual tax plan with the accounting provider, including realization of VAT tax receivables balances (ICMS and IPI), with special attention to corporate objectives.
