The AmeriCorps team is a single-issue area program developing specialization in education-school success.

Program Objectives
  • Provide students with well-defined instructional programs and diversified extracurricular activities to achieve maximum academic growth.
Member Responsibilities
  • A typical day for the AmeriCorps members begins at 7:00 am. They rotate between 2-8 classrooms daily, assisting teachers and students from 1-2 hours.
  • Each member assists between 12-15 students.
  • Members serving in pre-school have a set schedule, assisting students and teachers in the classroom.
Training and Support

Staff provide necessary training and technical assistance to ensure site success.
