University Partners Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Leasing Consultant to join our team at University Partners.

About the Role:

This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with prospective residents, current residents, and visitors to ensure an exceptional experience. As a key member of our community, you will be responsible for leasing apartments, handling day-to-day issues, and coordinating lease renewals.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Exceptional Customer Service: Provide top-notch service to all stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  2. Leasing Efforts: Effectively lease apartments in line with occupancy goals, adhering to Fair Housing Standards.
  3. Marketing and Outreach: Conduct outside marketing activities under the direction of the Assistant Manager and Community Manager.
  4. Application Review: Conduct thorough application reviews, including credit and income verifications, background checks, and lease paperwork preparation.
  5. Lease Administration: Ensure accurate completion of lease files, including addendums and signatures.
  6. Move-In Process: Coordinate move-in procedures, including room assignments, utility hook-ups, and resident onboarding.
  7. Communication: Foster open communication with residents, responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  8. Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals, maintain a positive work environment, and adhere to company policies.
  9. Training and Development: Participate in training sessions, workshops, and coaching to enhance skills and stay up-to-date with industry developments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Sales and Marketing Experience: Proven ability to sell and market properties effectively, achieving leasing targets.
  • Customer Service and Communication: Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational and Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with knowledge of Entrata a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Benefits and Perks:

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000-$65,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
