Supply Planner Role

Haleon is seeking a skilled Supply Planner to join our team. As a Supply Planner, you will be responsible for executing the supply planning process and coordinating product replenishment with our Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) or internal sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a single point of contact for the Supply Planning Manager and other key stakeholders to resolve supply issues and implement relevant actions from Supply Risk Management (SRM) systems.
  • Create Supply Plans for Finished Goods to meet short-, medium-, and long-term horizons.
  • Lead weekly meetings with CMOs and Supply Information Managers (SIMs) to follow up on Finished Goods delivery dates and identify supply risks.
  • Contribute to the development of proposals with the Supply Planning Manager, Site Teams, External Supply Teams, Procurement, and Other Regional Hubs on how to best flex supply chain costs to changing volume requirements.
  • Collect and report key supply planning KPIs, including change-over times/costs, adherence to plan, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and Returnable Container Cost Per Piece (RCCP), within SRM systems.
  • Optimize daily, weekly, and monthly supply planning processes and coordination activities between Site Scheduling or CMO Scheduling or Customer Service Team and Supply Planning.
  • Maintain and update product master data parameters to ensure alignment between Material Requirements Planning (MRP) or external CMO Supply Planning data and Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) systems to balance and optimize inventory.
  • Liaise with Demand Forecasters to understand forecasted requirements and manage supply to achieve and maintain high levels of customer service while meeting inventory targets.
  • Manage seasonal planning and campaigning with factories and markets.
  • Liaise with Commercial, Customer Service, and Logistics Departments or CMO Representatives to adjust delivery dates to customers when required.
  • Optimize stock holding levels within the total supply chain through a detailed understanding of key planning parameters and end-to-end processes, including lead times, supply reliability, demand variability, service objectives, and Working Capital targets.
  • Manage stock levels for new products and re-launches/discontinuations – run-ins/run-outs.
  • Identify and work with Demand Forecasting and Marketing to resolve residual and slow-moving stock issues.
  • Liaise with central Consumer Supply Chain departments, Marketing, Regulatory, etc., to ensure all requirements are coordinated for pack introductions/changes.
  • Update SOLS in the supply chain data warehouse to track predicted, low stock, and stock-outs.
  • Update SLOBS and identify actions to reduce SLOBs risks.
  • Perform inventory projection of SKUs under responsibility and latest estimated volumes to be produced.
  • Be an active role in process improvements with CMOs and Supply Planning process ways of working.
Why You?

  • Bachelor's degree completed in Engineering, Supply Chain & Logistics, Business Administration, Economics, or any other with some Supply Chain experience.
  • Advanced/Fluent English (you will have interactions with Global teams).
  • Working knowledge of an ERP – experience with SAP is required.
  • Proficient in MS applications, e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, Outlook.
  • Advanced Spanish will be considered a plus.
