Role Overview
This position is dedicated to enhancing the governance and risk management framework within the GE Vernova organization, specifically focusing on Exception Management.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with various internal teams to ensure adherence to the exception management protocol.
- Provide training and support to staff regarding compliance with exception management.
- Review and assess compliance documentation and data to uncover trends and improvement opportunities.
- Stay informed about regulatory obligations and industry benchmarks, assessing their implications on current and future exceptions.
- Generate comprehensive reports for leadership on exception compliance related to the risk register, policies, and controls.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related STEM discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT governance and compliance.
- At least 3 years of experience in Cybersecurity.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within the Vernova segments or business units is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as SOX and CMMC.
- Proficiency in drafting and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials.
- Capable of leading discussions that facilitate consensus among stakeholders.
- Possession of IT cybersecurity and/or risk management certifications.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with clear and concise communication skills, anticipating challenges and formulating solutions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
- Change-oriented mindset, actively seeking process enhancements, advocating for change initiatives, and adeptly managing multiple priorities.
