Job Title: Electronics Specialist

This role involves providing technical support, assembly and disassembly of equipment, performing operational tests, and carrying out maintenance on the equipment. The successful candidate will also assist in reworking, repairing, and modifying non-conforming equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance, testing, and equipment repair to prevent downtime and ensure continuity of operations.
  • Completing detailed documentation on maintenance, failure analysis, and other requirements to support informed decision-making.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, assembly prints, and parts lists, following formal procedures and maintenance practices to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) policies, Legal Compliance requirements, and Baker Hughes Core Values to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tech degree in electronics, electro-mechanics, electrical engineering, instrumentation, or automation to demonstrate knowledge and expertise in relevant fields.
  • Regular situation with the CFT or CREA to ensure stability and reliability.
  • Desirable experience in field operations and equipment maintenance to provide a strong foundation for the role.
  • Knowledge of electric motors, sensors, inverters, flowmeters, and diesel engines to support technical aspects of the job.
  • Analytical mindset to resolve problems and identify solutions to complex technical issues.
  • Fluent Portuguese and desired English language proficiency to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
