Job Title: Advanced Diesel Technician

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Diesel Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Service Department, you will be responsible for performing advanced diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performing advanced diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment and AMS products
  • Participating in Service EDUCATE Training programs
  • Mentoring Service Technician Trainees
  • Supporting customer clinics
  • Maintaining knowledge of John Deere and competitive products
  • Maintaining vehicle, inventory, tools, and equipment condition
  • Ensuring a clean and safe work environment
  • Following safety rules and regulations
Requirements
  • Associates degree with 5+ years of experience in service repairs
  • Ability to perform advanced repairs using specialized tools following Technical Manual procedures
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Proficiency with diagnostic vehicles and equipment
  • Familiarity with Service Advisor and basic computer functions
  • Advanced Diesel Service Technician education preferred
  • Ability to maintain positive relationships with colleagues
