Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop complex frontend applications using React, Vue, and other modern technologies.
  • Collaborate with other developers to design, develop, and maintain applications.
  • Work with a tech stack that includes React, Vue, Node, Docker, Jenkins CI/CD, and Kubernetes.
  • Develop stateless applications, integrating with APIs built and maintained by partners in OSS middleware.
  • Contribute to the development of customer-facing apps for self-service device activation, internal operations tooling, and set-top box applications.
  • Participate in the development of an extensible UI application architected for rapid delivery.
  • Make an impactful contribution to the team, working in a collaborative and agile environment.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience as a software engineer.
  • Hands-on experience with UI design, able to build/create with an idea-level understanding of a project.
  • Able to meet general accessibility requirements without explicit guidance.
  • Competent and able to independently contribute from day 1 in the following technologies: React, Vue, HTML Canvas, CSS, RESTful API integration.
  • Knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
  • Experience with Cypress, Express, WebGL, and Java frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate is a plus.
  • Understanding of OpenID Connect (OIDC) and JSON Web Tokens (JWT) is a plus.

Soft Skills/Expectations

  • High learning agility for both development and client-specific domain information.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Able to estimate own velocity and workload with accuracy.
  • Provide daily status updates via daily standup, asking for guidance as needed, and proactively raising issues/blockers.
  • Strong and in-depth experience using Agile, Scrum, and Iterative development practices.
