We are looking for a seasoned Linux systems professional to join our operations team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement and manage complex Linux system infrastructure using Red Hat and Oracle Linux.
  • Design and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles for configuration management and deployment automation.
  • Perform advanced Linux patching, security updates and OS hardening procedures.
  • Write and maintain Bash scripts for automation and system maintenance tasks.
  • Administer and support Red Hat Satellite for system provisioning, patching and lifecycle management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex Linux system issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, application and security teams to ensure consistent environments.
  • Manage source code and configuration using GIT repositories.
  • Monitor system performance, reliability and security using industry-standard tools.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in Linux System Administration (Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Oracle Linux).
  • Strong proficiency in Ansible, including custom module development and troubleshooting.
  • Advanced bash scripting skills for automation and system tasks.
  • Proficient in GIT for version control and collaboration.
  • Experience with Red Hat Satellite for system provisioning and patch management.
  • Deep understanding of Linux patching strategies, kernel upgrades and OS lifecycle management.
  • Experience working in secure, enterprise IT environments.
Familiarity with Preferred Tools and Technologies:
  • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with other scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
  • Familiarity with configuration management, CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools.
  • Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure) with Linux workloads.
