About the Role

Red Hat Brasil LTDA. (f.k.a. RH Brasil Sistemas LTDA.) is seeking a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team in São Paulo, Brazil. As a key member of our consulting team, you will play a crucial role in promoting the adoption of Red Hat's cloud solutions at our key enterprise accounts, government agencies, and service provider partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver successful discovery, analysis, and design workshops for small to medium-sized teams of technical and non-technical backgrounds to shape and influence customer use cases and architecture design decisions.
  • Scope delivery projects and guide customers through successful pilot and production deployments of Red Hat's cloud solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of repeatable methodologies and tools designed to scale Red Hat's services capabilities, promote repeatable customer engagements, and lower delivery risk.
  • Address the customer's technical, development, and strategic IT requirements as the main point of contact for Red Hat's professional services.
  • Use industry practices and Red Hat's policies and procedures to solve diverse problems.
  • Serve as a customer advocate, designing the right solutions and ensuring that they are implemented and supported in an innovative and reliable way.
  • Design, create, and deliver content that will enable the broader Red Hat organization to sell, service, and support our cloud and infrastructure solutions at scale.
  • Contribute to the development of repeatable methodologies and tools designed to scale Red Hat's services capabilities, promote repeated customer engagements, and lower delivery risks.
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise in Infrastructure, Cloud, Container, and Automation producing whitepapers, webinars, etc. and speaking at seminars and conferences.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience working in an application architect, solutions architect, enterprise architect, or architect consulting delivery role.
  • Proven record of working in a strategic advisory capacity to senior IT operations and engineering professionals and business executives.
  • Prior experience working in a consulting architecture role; ability to deliver in one-on-one assignments.
  • Good customer-facing skills; ability to present to customers and lead customer interactions.
  • Comfortable working with highly distributed teams, including interaction with the open source communities via email and other communication tools.
  • Excellent knowledge of infrastructure technologies on a delivery level.
  • Experience implementing container technologies in an enterprise setting and with enterprise-wide deployments.
  • Knowledge of one or more Red Hat's infrastructure solutions like Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or Ansible Automation Platform.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; extensive experience presenting even to C-level executives.
  • Understanding of the open source community.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills.
  • Willingness to travel across the region.
  • Experience onboarding applications and application teams onto cloud or container platforms introducing DevOps, continuous delivery (CD), and application lifecycle management.
  • Excellent written and verbal language skills in English and Spanish.
  • Red Hat Certifications are considered a plus.
