About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Game Designer to join our team at Fortis Games. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing game systems and features that drive player engagement and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop core game systems, including game mechanics, economies, and player psychology.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation and testing of game systems.
  • Mentor and guide junior designers to help them grow and develop their skills.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging patterns in service design to inform your design decisions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in game design, with a focus on game systems and mechanics.
  • Strong understanding of game economies, player psychology, and metagame systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to articulate complex design concepts and ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with Unity and Google Sheets, with a strong understanding of content design and GitHub.
