We are seeking an experienced Ordinary Seaman to join our crew on board a Tanker - Chemical vessel. This is a great opportunity for a professional and physically fit individual to work as part of a team in a dynamic maritime environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the general maintenance and cleanliness of the vessel, ensuring it remains in pristine condition at all times.
  • Handle mooring lines during docking and undocking operations, working closely with senior crew members to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Operate deck machinery and equipment under the supervision of senior crew members, maintaining high levels of proficiency and safety standards.
  • Assist in the safe loading, stowing, and discharging of cargo, adhering to strict safety protocols and procedures.
  • Participate in safety drills and emergency response activities, demonstrating a proactive approach to risk management and crew safety.
  • Perform routine deck duties as assigned by the Chief Officer, showcasing flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced maritime environment.

Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ordinary Seaman (OS) on board a tanker vessel, with a strong focus on safety and teamwork.
  • Valid STCW certification, including Basic Training, and a proven commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Proficient in English language, both written and spoken, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating leadership skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Physically fit and able to handle heavy equipment and perform manual labor, with a strong emphasis on physical stamina and resilience.
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations in the maritime industry, with a keen understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
