Job Title: Senior Network Architect

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Architect to lead our team in designing and implementing cutting-edge network solutions. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex network architectures that drive business growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable and secure network architectures that meet business requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network solutions with existing systems
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards to ensure consistency and efficiency
  • Provide expert-level support and guidance to junior team members on network architecture and design
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to inform strategic decision-making
Requirements
  • Technical Planning knowledge in optical transmission systems, Ethernet transport and switching, DCN Networks and IP Addressing, and Network Management Systems
  • Proven competence in planning and engineering of telecommunication equipment deployments from either a vendor or operator perspective
  • At least 5 years' experience of field turn-up and test on submarine DWDM systems
  • Formal engineering education either in university or vocational via an approved and recognized apprenticeship scheme
