As a Control Systems Engineer, you'll be part of a dynamic team that develops cutting-edge control strategies, designs and implements solutions, and ensures the reliability and performance of our locomotive systems.

What You'll Do

  • Develop control system requirements and concepts, and design and implement solutions that meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document traction system requirements and interfaces.
  • Design and develop Simulink models, perform desktop simulations, and validate system performance.
  • Lead design reviews, make presentations, and provide status reports to senior management.
  • Work on high-horsepower and high-voltage equipment, and execute design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Control Systems Engineering.
  • 4-8 years of experience in engineering, preferably in a similar or relevant field.
  • Hands-on experience with control algorithm design and development.
  • Strong working knowledge of Simulink/Stateflow or similar tools.
  • Proven analytical, interpersonal, communication, organization, planning, and leadership skills.
  • Process focus and continuous improvement orientation.
