Job Description

This is a strategic role that requires the ability to work in a collaborative environment from one of our offices. Our organizational culture is designed to foster in-person innovation, collaboration, and connection with team members local and visiting from other global offices.

We are hiring for an experienced Software Developer who will be responsible for designing and building scalable and resilient systems that power our applications. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in cloud technologies, databases, and software development to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions that meet the needs of our clients and users.

The successful candidate will have extensive professional programming experience, writing high-quality code from scratch, and will inspire others to write code that is durable, secure, scalable, and always up and running. They will also have in-depth experience with .NET and working with relational and/or NoSQL databases, including schema design, indexing, querying, and performance tuning.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Delivering high-quality software by applying critical thinking to products, requirements, and processes
  • Partnering closely with clients to influence technical product decisions and business goals
  • Continually staying up-to-date with the landscape of software engineering best practices, tools, and frameworks
  • Designing and developing apps that can efficiently scale in modern cloud environments
  • Working with databases to design efficient data models and optimize data access
  • Designing and developing APIs that are well-documented, reliable, and consumable by various clients
  • Troubleshooting problems in existing code and systems, identifying root causes, and autonomously implementing remedial actions

The ideal candidate will be eager to share their knowledge with teammates through mentorship, code reviews, and pair programming sessions. They will possess strong debugging and troubleshooting skills and effectively communicate system architecture and development decisions to clients and teammates.
