Senior Frontend Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front-End Engineer to lead our front-end development team at Qlub, a Global FinTech Startup revolutionizing payments in restaurants and cafes.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining advanced web applications that deliver seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:


Lead front-end development efforts by providing technical direction and best practices for using React.js and Next.jsArchitect and develop highly responsive web applications with reusable, efficient, and scalable codeCollaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end elements with server-side logicStay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in front-end technologies, particularly React.js and Next.jsDrive UI/UX improvements based on feedback and best practices to deliver an exceptional user experienceParticipate in all stages of the development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deploymentEnsure accessibility and compliance with web standards and best practicesManage and prioritize tasks for front-end team members in collaboration with project managersMonitor and improve CI/CD processes for front-end deployments

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience 3+ years in React.js and Next.js with a strong portfolio of web applicationsExperience in server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and other Next.js featuresProficiency with state management libraries like Redux, Context API, or RecoilFamiliarity with RESTful APIs and integration with backend servicesExpertise in using Material-UI (MUI) to build highly responsive and aesthetically pleasing user interfacesSolid understanding of component-based architecture and best practices in reusable UI designExperience with Firebase Hosting and deploying front-end applications on Firebase infrastructureKnowledge of version control tools like Git and experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with TypeScript in React.js and Next.js applicationsFamiliarity with Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) and mobile-first developmentExperience with unit testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or CypressKnowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Vercel)
