Workforce Support Associate

This role is responsible for supporting the workforce in underground utility construction. The associate will work closely with the crew to perform various tasks, including broom and shovel work, trenching, digging, pulling, and removing materials.
The ideal candidate will be able to lift, reach, dig, and carry heavy objects, frequently lifting up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds. A valid driver's license is also required.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to participate in daily job briefings and safety meetings, and you will be expected to maintain the condition of company equipment. You will also load and unload trucks and haul/hoist materials as needed.
We are looking for an individual who is available for overtime on weekdays and/or weekends. Labor experience in utilities is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Perform broom and shovel work and assist the crew in underground utility construction.
- Assist crew members in trenching, digging, pulling, and removing materials.
- Load and unload trucks and haul/hoist materials.
- Maintain the condition of company equipment.
- Participate in daily job briefings and safety meetings.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Able to lift, reach, dig, and carry heavy objects; frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
- Able to wear all required personal safety equipment.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Pre-employment drug testing required.
- Availability for overtime on weekdays and/or weekends.
