Strengthening Fraud Defenses: An Opportunity for Growth
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to play a key role in enhancing our fraud defenses. As a Fraud Business Analyst Intern, you will contribute to the development and implementation of process audits, rule tuning, and data-driven investigations.
Key Responsibilities:- Audit and validate existing fraud rules configured in the Accertify platform to ensure their effectiveness and efficiency.
- Support quality assurance reviews of Robotic Process Automations (RPAs) related to fraud monitoring and decision-making to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the Anomaly Detection team to analyze triggers and evaluate false positives/negatives to refine our fraud detection capabilities.
- Design and test Splunk dashboards and data visualizations for fraud alerts and system monitoring to provide real-time insights.
This position is ideal for an individual pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, Criminal Justice, or a related discipline who is passionate about fraud prevention and operational risk reduction.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Detail-oriented and analytical skills to effectively conduct process audits and analyze data.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in software tools such as Accertify, Splunk, and Microsoft Office.
