Job Description
Our ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the local Monitoring Team to deliver consistent, high-quality services. This includes performing Monitoring, Incident Management, Redundancy and Incident Reporting activities, working on shifts (16/7 coverage), monitoring multiple business systems, detecting incidents across multiple service dependencies, and ensuring swift incident response.
The successful candidate will also be required to utilize and maintain monitoring dashboards to track performance metrics and identify improvement areas. Additionally, they will need to ensure the Monitoring Team meets SLA requirements, review existing Incident Management documentation, contribute to new materials, react by executing appropriate redundancy protocols, coordinate incident communication with multiple parties, familiarize themselves with Incident Management documentation, learn company products at a technical and operational level, liaise with third parties during Incident Management, understand environments and available configurations, acquire insight into Incident Management processes in a global company, communicate daily with other teams, develop skills and get new knowledge in the Incident Management domain, and carry out investigations to determine Incident root causes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 1 year minimum experience in Monitoring, Incident Management or a similar role (2 or more years recommended)
- Knowledge of Monitoring and Incident Reporting methodologies and processes
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and ability to communicate with team members, clients, and stakeholders in English
