Cloud Support Engineer Opportunity

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Support Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expert-level technical support to customers leveraging Ubuntu and open source products.

Your primary goal will be to ensure customer satisfaction by resolving complex technical issues in a timely and professional manner. You will engage directly with customers through various channels, including phone, ticketing systems, and remote sessions. Additionally, you will participate in a regular weekend working rotation and contribute to the development of knowledge base articles to enhance shared knowledge and lessons learned.

Key Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience in supporting Linux systems, including virtualization, cloud, containers, storage technologies, and networking. Proficiency in cloud computing, troubleshooting, and programming fundamentals is essential.
  • Customer Focus: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to prioritize customer needs, communicate professionally, empathetically, clearly, and set realistic expectations.
  • Collaboration and Adaptability: Ability to work collaboratively in a distributed environment, adapt to changing priorities, and demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
