Machining Innovation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Machining Innovation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in machining, programming and operating conventional lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC milling machines.
The selected individual will be responsible for producing prototypes and parts, organizing and maintaining the lab, including stock management, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
The successful candidate will also assist in the development of automated robots, pneumatic and hydraulic devices, and improving documentation processes.
Key Responsibilities- Design and produce high-quality prototypes and parts using various machining techniques.
- Maintain the lab's inventory, ordering supplies as needed, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop technical drawings and improve documentation processes.
- Analyze and perform simple 3D and 2D drawings on CAD software.
- Assist in the improvement of automated robots and pneumatic/hydraulic devices integrated with CAM systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in machining and CNC programming.
- Proficiency in CAD software and metrology equipment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with special materials such as stainless steel, engineering polymers, and hardened materials.
