Job Summary

The role of Supply Chain Coordinator plays a vital part in ensuring efficient logistics for Enhanced Rock Weathering (ERW) projects. This position involves coordinating the transportation of rock powder from mines to farms, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless operations contributing to our mission of regenerating soils and reducing CO2 emissions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support planning and execution of transportation for rock materials and soil samples by working closely with the project team.
  • Coordinate with third-party providers to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Monitor logistics workflows and address operational challenges as needed.
Travel and On-Site Support
  • Regular travel to mines, transportation hubs, and farm sites to monitor logistical activities and ensure smooth execution.
  • Work closely with farmers, transport providers, and third-party contractors to address any challenges in real-time.
Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Build and maintain relationships with transportation providers, mining partners, and farming partners to facilitate successful collaboration.
  • Work closely with the field and science teams to align logistics with project requirements.
Process Optimization
  • Assist in refining logistics routes to reduce costs and delays by analyzing data and implementing process improvements.
  • Contribute to improving protocols for material transportation and handling.
Data & Reporting
  • Track and document transportation activities to ensure compliance with project goals using data management tools.
  • Use data to help evaluate and enhance logistics operations over time.

The ideal candidate will have experience or education in logistics, operations, or supply chain management, with familiarity with Brazil's rural transportation infrastructure being an advantage. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills are also required, along with collaborative, hands-on, and adaptable abilities. A proactive approach to addressing challenges and a passion for sustainability and regenerative agriculture are essential qualities for this role.
