Job Overview:

We're seeking a seasoned DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a critical member of our infrastructure team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously scaling our infrastructure to handle increasing loads while maintaining stability and performance.
  • Monitoring and analyzing system performance, identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
  • Optimizing resource allocation, rightsizing resources, and automating scaling policies.
  • Improving our monitoring and observability capabilities, developing and maintaining dashboards, alerts, and logs that provide actionable insights.
  • Collaborating with developers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration between infrastructure and applications.
  • Contributing to security and compliance by implementing best practices and staying up-to-date with industry standards.
  • Staying abreast of industry trends and technologies, proactively suggesting and implementing improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience designing, deploying, and managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
  • Deep understanding of cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and experience managing infrastructure on bare-metal servers.
  • Demonstrated ability to architect and manage infrastructure that can scale horizontally and vertically, supporting a growing user base and increasing traffic.
  • Strong focus on optimizing infrastructure to balance performance and cost, proficient in tools and techniques for monitoring resource usage and identifying inefficiencies.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Bash, Python).
  • Deep understanding of best practices for monitoring, logging, and observability, experience with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting, excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience with media processing, familiarity with video and audio processing, streaming, or related technologies is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with the Node.js environment and applications at scale is a strong advantage.
