We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and developing large-scale data processing systems using Spark.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with experience working with distributed data processing frameworks such as Spark. They will also have excellent analytical skills, with the ability to collect and analyze complex data sets.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing large-scale data processing systems using Spark
  • Collecting and analyzing complex data sets to inform business decisions
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and integrity
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Proven industry experience executing data engineering projects or a Bachelor's/Master's degree in quantitative studies
  • Strong knowledge of Spark (PySpark) and experience working with distributed data processing frameworks
  • Hands-on experience with data pipeline development and ingest patterns in Azure orchestration tools such as Azure Data Factory (ADF) or Airflow
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect and analyze complex data sets
  • Collaborative and proactive approach with excellent communication skills
