Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP Consultant MM/WM with a strong background in procurement processes, including direct, indirect, third-party, sub-contracting, stock transport orders, stock transfers, account-assigned POs, asset procurement, and consignment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in creating functional specifications for reports, forms, and enhancements, as well as working collaboratively with the ABAP team to develop custom requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure warehouse management structures, including storage types, storage bins, quants, and extending material masters to warehouse management functions.
- Manage batch management in warehouse, shelf life functionality, warehouse movements, transfer requirements, and transfer orders.
- Develop and implement goods receipts with inbound delivery, goods issues with outbound deliveries, picking and packing stock replenishment, fixed bin replenishment, picking/put-away strategies, and storage unit management.
- Develop and work with data migration tools for master data management.
- Write detailed functional specifications and understand configuration dependencies and interrelationships between separate functional modules of SAP.
Requirements
- Fluent English language skills.
- Strong knowledge of SAP MM/WM and procurement processes.
- Experience in creating functional specifications and working with the ABAP team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
