Overview of the Role:
This position is responsible for supporting the legal department. The successful candidate will be tasked with reviewing contracts of moderate complexity, collaterals and providing advisory services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop business initiatives and governance projects across operations.
- Establish and implement procedures for operational legal teams.
- Lead the business legal team in contract negotiations and project management as required by the leader.
- Draft and revise contracts, standard templates, taking into account new clauses that may arise from business development or changes in laws, regulations or market standards.
- Provide internal training on matters of competency to Legal and Compliance teams or to global teams.
- Explore innovative technologies and approaches for procedural improvements.
Requirements:
- Graduation in Law
- Registration at the Bar Association (OAB)
- Experience in the financial services industry
- Knowledge of laws and regulations surrounding financial markets, commodities, collaterals and business environment in general
- Flexibility to assist in matters outside the realm of traditional legal practice
- Fluency in English, other languages are an asset
Location: Vila Olimpia São Paulo/SP or Campinas - SP. Hybrid arrangement allowed up to twice a week at the base office.
