Staff Data Scientist

We are seeking an accomplished Staff Data Scientist to spearhead our data-driven initiatives. This role requires a skilled professional with expertise in extracting, transforming, and analyzing complex data from multiple sources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable data processes using Python and SQL.
  • Develop, test, and document robust SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Extricate valuable insights from large datasets, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business decisions.
  • Define and document clear reporting requirements and validation methodologies.
  • Provide strategic recommendations based on deep data analysis.
  • Mentor junior analysts and foster best practices in data visualization, SQL, and Python optimization.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics or related roles.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization and performance tuning.
  • Proven expertise in Python for data manipulation and process automation.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI and Microsoft Azure services.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
  • Experience mentoring junior team members and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Strong experience in data storytelling and presenting insights to stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with executives, engineers, and business teams.
  • Advanced English (written and spoken).
