Job Description:

The Strategic Supply Chain Optimization Specialist will lead the distribution requirement planning process, managing long and short-term demand while considering sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales and operations plans, ensuring alignment between sales forecasts, production plans, and inventory levels.

The ideal candidate will identify and evaluate supply chain risks, developing contingency plans to mitigate them.

Responsibilities include creating and implementing inventory control and stock policies, working closely with purchasing, production, and logistics teams to ensure integration and efficiency of the supply chain.

The Strategic Supply Chain Optimization Specialist will monitor and report on supply chain performance, including metrics such as OTIF-D, lead time, and inventory levels.

This role also involves identifying opportunities for improvement in the supply chain and implementing solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and project management experience, with intermediate English language proficiency required.

Spanish language skills are a plus, and strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills are essential.

The salary range for this position is estimated to be around $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
