Position Overview:
The Business Development Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific is responsible for driving business growth and delivering targets within assigned territories. This role requires a deep understanding of the market, customers, and sales processes to establish and achieve strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with Vertical Marketing managers to understand customer needs and establish regional strategies.
- Define and review sales action plans to achieve business objectives, supporting the divisional annual strategic planning process.
- Develop and implement market prospecting strategies to reach new customers, evaluating market conditions and expectations.
- Provide regular sales reports to leadership and prepare reports for regional sales management and management control.
- Foster strategic relationships with customers to identify new business opportunities and drive customer satisfaction.

Required Skills:

- Experience in expanding business and growing market share.
- Strong working knowledge of the sales process (lead generation, quoting, purchasing, revenue recognition) and forecast management.
- Hands-on experience with HPLC systems, preferably in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
- Knowledge of sample preparation, LC method optimizations, and method transfer.

Desired Qualifications:

- Degree in scientific areas such as chemistry, biology, pharmacy, or biochemistry.
- Knowledge of office packages (Word, Excel, Power Point) and CRM software.
- Fluency in English and Spanish (mandatory).
- Ability and desire to travel 50% of the time.
