Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Apps DBA to work in a hybrid model during the day. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Oracle EBS - App Admin and Oracle Database Administration. Experience in Cards and Payments domain is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure optimal performance and reliability of Oracle EBS applications through administration and maintenance.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Oracle EBS applications to resolve issues promptly.
  • Manage Oracle Database Administration tasks, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.
  • Implement best practices and regular audits to ensure database security and integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement database solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Monitor database performance and optimize queries to enhance system efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for database configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Conduct regular backups and recovery operations to safeguard data.
  • Implement and manage database replication and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior developers and database administrators.
  • Stay updated with the latest Oracle technologies and industry trends to ensure the use of best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.

Qualifications:

  • Possess strong experience in Oracle EBS App Admin and Oracle Database Administration.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in database performance tuning and optimization.
  • Exhibit knowledge of database security practices and disaster recovery planning.
  • Show experience in managing and supporting large-scale database environments.
  • Have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Display strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

The estimated salary for this position is around $120,000 per year, considering the job requirements and location.
