The ideal candidate will be responsible for acting as a key liaison in the lab for specific customers and projects across various categories.
Key Responsibilities:- Application: Serve as a point of contact in the lab for specific customers and projects across categories.
- Reporting to the Application Laboratory Coordinator, you will:
- Manage sample requests and ordering of fragrance oils.
- Perform physical-chemical measurements.
- Develop and assist in updating technical documentation within the department.
- Prepare internal bases for formulation.
- Match colors and recommend dyes based on client requirements.
- Operate and maintain standard lab equipment.
- Record and communicate results accurately and promptly.
- Mentor junior technicians, trainees, and other staff members.
A minimum of 5-7 years of laboratory experience in a related field, understanding of laboratory techniques applied to perfumery, knowledge of Microsoft applications, and English language skills are required.
Professional Experience:As a Senior Laboratory Specialist, you will have extensive experience in laboratory techniques, perfumery, chemistry, and good laboratory practices.
Technical Skills:Accurate record keeping, attention to detail, olfactory ability, chemistry knowledge, perfumery knowledge, and expertise in lab equipment usage are essential.
