Database Optimization and Scalable Software Development

We are seeking a skilled Senior Backend Engineer with a focus on database optimization and scalable software development. This individual will lead the design and optimization of databases to improve performance, scalability, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Optimization: Lead the design and optimization of databases to improve performance, scalability, and efficiency;
  • Back-End Data Processing: Build and maintain efficient, scalable back-end systems to handle high data volumes;
  • Software Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications with an emphasis on performance, reliability, and scalability;
  • OOP and Clean Code: Write clean, modular code following Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, with proficiency in Python;
  • Collaborative Problem Solving: Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate high-level concepts into actionable, effective software solutions;
  • Event-Driven Processes: Design and implement event-driven processes to improve data flow, responsiveness, and scalability across systems.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience with Python;
  • Hands-on experience building tools using Streamlit for Snowflake;
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with Snowflake;
  • Experience with dbt (data build tool) for data transformation and modeling;
  • Upper-Intermediate English Level.
Nice to Have
  • Background in data analytics;
  • Exposure to or hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks or integrations.
