Production Operations Supervisor

Core Responsibilities
Overseeing and directing operations within the Pinda (PDO) unit's production and materials management sectors, with a strong emphasis on fostering a safe, profitable, and efficient working environment. The goal is to meet the unit's performance targets while driving enhancements and reducing costs through Operational Excellence (OE) initiatives.
Key Duties
- Serve as a vital member of the local leadership team, enhancing the performance of production and materials handling areas.
- Encourage benchmarking and challenge existing processes to identify improvement opportunities, leading initiatives aimed at elevating performance, profitability, and safety standards.
- Engage in dialogue and coaching, ensuring that team members receive the necessary training by identifying their development needs to meet business objectives and create organizational value.
- Uphold compliance with corporate principles and policies across all areas of responsibility.
- Ensure adherence to the production and materials handling program, focusing on process optimization and quality assurance while developing solutions to potential challenges.
- Actively contribute to and motivate the production and materials handling sectors to achieve unit objectives and strive for excellence in performance metrics.
- Work towards minimizing operational costs, mitigating losses, and enhancing the plant's efficiency.
- Lead the implementation of various management initiatives.
- Promote a culture of Operational Excellence and GoalZero Safety Performance throughout the production process, addressing operational issues transparently and factually. Encourage innovation through a structured suggestion program.
- Develop and implement improvement projects across all process stages, consistently pursuing operational excellence.
- Provide technical and operational guidance to the industrial management team.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical or Materials Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience in industrial settings.
- Proven track record in leadership or management roles within manufacturing organizations.
- Proficient in English (advanced/fluent).
- Familiarity with tools such as APQP, FMEA, and MASP.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and IATF standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree or MBA in Industrial Management is advantageous.
- Basic computer proficiency (ERP Datasul, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience in People Management and Development Coaching.
- Background in industrial processes.
- Ability to collaboratively solve problems within multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience managing performance indicators in production.
- Possess a systemic perspective.
- Understanding of business and market trends.
- Desirable skills include planning manufacturing activities.
