Job Summary
McFadyen Digital is looking for a talented Magento developer to join our team. We are seeking a highly skilled individual who can design, develop and implement e-commerce solutions using the Magento platform.
As a Magento developer, you will be responsible for writing clean, modular and robust code to implement desired requirements with minimal supervision. You will also create reusable components that can be configured for different projects and write unit test cases to ensure high-quality code.
- Write and maintain modules of Magento2 EE/Cloud
- Design and develop custom plugins for Magento
- Implement user interface and user experience (UI/UX) design principles in Magento development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for complex systems
Requirements
- Strong PHP and Magento skills with an emphasis on object-oriented programming
- Experience with MySQL database management
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Understanding of Magento system architecture, design, theming, functionality enhancements, and configuration
- Experience in creating customizable plugins for Magento
