Senior Cybersecurity Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Information Security Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our security department, you will play a vital role in safeguarding organizational data assets, analyzing security threats, and implementing protective measures to mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive analysis of security threats and vulnerabilities: Identify potential risks to organizational assets and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures: Ensure compliance and data protection by designing and implementing effective security controls.
- Participate in security incident response activities: Collaborate with the team to detect, investigate, and resolve security incidents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work together to assess security controls, perform security assessments, and recommend enhancements.
- Monitor security systems and tools: Proactively identify potential threats and take corrective action to ensure the security of organizational assets.
- Demonstrated interest in information security: Relevant coursework, certifications, or practical experience in the field.
- Familiarity with security frameworks, standards, and regulations: Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills: Ability to assess complex security issues and recommend effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills: Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment: Proactive approach to problem-solving and enthusiasm for continuous learning.
