Project Manager Job Description

The impact of technology on retail is a transformative force affecting every retailer from small, local shops to large retail conglomerates. As specialists in technology solutions for retail, we provide strategy, implementation, deployment, training, and support services for clients across various retail segments.

Our team is growing rapidly, and we are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our delivery team in Brazil. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing cross-functional project teams, coordinating and controlling team activities, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, meet technical requirements, and achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage cross-functional project teams to deliver IT solutions.
  • Coordinate and control team activities, including technical implementation tasks, process reengineering, and organizational change activities.
  • Prepare project execution plans and ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, meet technical requirements, and achieve business objectives.
  • Select, develop, and leverage appropriate technical and business resources needed for successful project execution.
  • Align the project team around the project's vision, strategy, goals, methodology, and business objectives.
  • Manage project resources and external stakeholders such as subcontractors and service suppliers.
  • Lead regular project reviews with external and internal stakeholders, including senior IT and business leaders.
  • Ensure project results are of the highest caliber, meeting technical and behavioral objectives, business case targets, and planned value.

Requirements:

  • IT Project Manager with +7 years of experience.
  • Experience leading functional and technical teams to deliver IT solutions.
  • Experience leading projects as a service provider.
  • Experience working independently in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business, or Finance, or equivalent combination of work experience in IT Project management plus applicable schooling/certifications.
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory.
