We are seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer to join our team, focusing on automating and optimizing core Security Operations Center (SOC) processes. This includes improving bot detection, fraud mitigation, phishing investigations, and other security automation efforts to enable the security team to scale efficiently and precisely.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop innovative automation tools and services: design, build, and maintain automation tools that support SOC operations, utilizing microservices, Kubernetes, Python, and message queues to streamline workflows and enhance SOC capabilities.
- Leverage cutting-edge technologies: use modern frameworks, APIs, and protocols to enhance SOC functionalities.
- Collaborate with security experts: work closely with security analysts to solve automation, security, and engineering challenges, continuously improving tools and services.
- Stay updated on emerging trends: research and implement new standards in security and automation, identifying new technologies and best practices to enhance security products and processes.
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development, with a strong focus on security.
- Proficiency in Python programming language.
- Strong understanding of programming best practices, design patterns, methodologies, and testing principles.
- Experience writing secure code, with knowledge of OWASP security guidelines.
- Solid experience working with SQL databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts.
- Familiarity with developing microservices using Docker containers.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies, including web development frameworks and libraries.
- Previous involvement in bug bounty programs or a track record of public CVEs and contributions to web application security research.
- Exposure to modern web browser security, web architecture, network protocols, and web automation frameworks.
- Working knowledge of Linux operating system, with experience in installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
