Software Developer Team Lead

This is a senior leadership position responsible for leading a team of software developers in the design, development, and deployment of global products.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing teams and driving technical innovation. They will be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of software developers in the design, development, and deployment of global products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Develop and implement technical strategies to drive innovation and improve product quality.
  • Mentor and coach team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Partner with colleagues to build and maintain tools for test development, automation, and release process improvements.
  • Advocate for user experience when collaborating with product, design, and technical teams.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in software development, including server-side and backend development.
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, C#, or similar.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and DevOps tools like Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and database optimization (e.g., SQL Server, T-SQL).
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, XUnit) and automation tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
  • Proficiency in source control systems such as Git/GitHub.
