As a Visual Arts Educator, you will have the opportunity to foster creativity and artistic expression among elementary and junior high students. This role is perfect for an individual who is passionate about art education and is looking to make a positive impact on the lives of young people.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop engaging, standards-aligned visual arts curriculum for diverse student populations.
- Create inclusive classroom environments that support students' academic, social-emotional, and creative development.
- Provide individualized instruction and adapt to meet diverse learning needs.
- Teach proper use and care of art materials, equipment, and tools.
- Showcase student artwork in school and community exhibitions.
- Regularly assess student progress and communicate growth to families and administrators.
- Valid California Single Subject Credential in Art or Multiple Subject Credential with Authorization in Art.
- Bachelor's Degree in Art, Art Education, or related field.
- English Language Learner Authorization required.
