About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team at Damco Spain Sl. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in driving growth opportunities and enhancing sales capabilities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Drive business growth opportunities in the Area for Business Development - Maersk Contract Logistics ECSA with a deep understanding of operations, commercial, technical, and market trends.
  • Enhance sales colleagues' knowledge in contract logistics to bring a robust and accurate pipeline, increasing confidence to profitably grow with customers and deliver integrated solutions.
  • Identify business opportunities in core and vertical markets, staying ahead of market trends.
  • Manage relationships with partners, regional teams, customers, and back-office areas, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor deadlines closely, ensuring timely project submissions, reports, and analysis.

Requirements

  • Industry knowledge and understanding of local market trends.
  • Selling and solutioning technical service offerings.
  • Financial and pricing understanding.
  • Stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Understanding of commercial solution sales process.
  • Language: Fluent English and Portuguese (mandatory).
