About the Role

Join our dynamic SAP S/4HANA Product Success and Cloud Co-innovation team as a Product Specialist in the Americas Region. This exciting opportunity allows you to contribute to the transformation of our market and drive momentum for our Cloud products.

You will be responsible for executing our strategy, scope, and complete customer experience for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Public Edition. Your focus will be on unlocking the right capabilities of our digital core with the needed focus to scale the business.

As a key member of our team, you will bridge between customer demand, sales priorities, and product definition and development units. Customer adoption for S/4HANA (regardless of the deployment option) and rollout of new functionality will be a critical aspect of your daily role.

You will collaborate with our customers, Field Sales, Field Services, Partner organization, Product teams, and Development teams across SAP to:

  • Keep track of customer engagements and work with Customers, Services, and Partners to assess and prioritize requests during the implementation of S/4HANA in the Americas Region.
  • Support and enable the Americas Regional teams and roles to manage customer expectations beyond existing rolling 4-quarter roadmaps.
  • Manage customer individual demand for S/4HANA in a regional setup assuring one face to one customer from Product Success and Cloud Co-innovation.
  • Work with Product and Development teams to compile SAP's product roadmap based on customer feedback.
  • Advocate solution readiness and innovations to drive the adoption of S/4HANA as the product's voice for Customers, Sales, and Presales.

Your expertise and support of our deliverables on the strategy of our innovations will be key via:

  • Experience in working with clients in analyzing and transferring market and client demand directly into the Product Management/Development teams (functional specification, co-innovation, etc.).
  • Excellent ability to liaise with different internal organizations (Development, Preferred success organization, Customer first organization, Field, etc.), becoming a key counterpart for stakeholders in Product Management / Development organization.
  • Outstanding project management skills to align with the respective areas and drive projects successfully along tight deadlines.
  • Seamless collaboration with the S/4HANA Co-Innovation program, with a special focus on large and strategic customers.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration (Finance, Accounting, and/or Engineering) or comparable education required.
  • Experience in developing and/or implementing and/or using SAP S/4HANA Cloud – Public Cloud, SAP S/4HANA Cloud – Private Cloud, SAP S/4HANA On-Premise, SAP Business Suite (SAP ERP) and understanding of underlying functionality, architecture & technology.
  • Knowledge of professional software development. Relevant working experience in the SAP environment.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders from cross-functional teams in multiple regions/time zones.
  • Ability to distill technical information fast and prepare stakeholder-specific content out of it, with the business outcome in mind and customer focus; ability to simplify complex information.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles (e.g. Functional consultant, solution architect, support, presales).
  • Excellent communication and language skills in English (spoken and written), familiar with Spanish or willing to learn.

Preferred Skills

The following skills would be advantageous:

  • Deep understanding of the subscription cloud economy and customer success in the digital economy.
  • Good knowledge of cloud principles.
  • ERP Business Processes Knowledge.
  • Experience in LAC localization and co-innovation processes.
  • Subject Matter Expert in functional areas such as Finance, Logistics, or Manufacturing.
