Job Overview:

The Cloud Infrastructure Expert will play a pivotal role in the Global Customer Success organization, spearheading efforts to enhance customer success on the Microsoft Cloud. This position involves collaborating with large enterprise customers to optimize the stability and performance of their Azure solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for Azure IaaS and PaaS, as well as experience with best-in-class tools created by Microsoft. Strong technical skills, including troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, are required.

The Cloud Infrastructure Expert will work closely with internal teams and customers to deliver proactive services such as education workshops, assessments, and tailored guidance. This role offers flexibility, allowing up to 50% remote work.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Focused Approach: Gather customer insights, map architecture and digital transformation solutions to customer business outcomes, and represent the customer's voice internally.
  • Technical Leadership: Develop and expand relationships with customer architects and technical specialists, receive and synthesize customer data, and contribute to the customer success plan.
  • Business Impact: Identify issues, advise customers on optimal performance, and drive customer-partner relationships to resolve technical blockers.
  • Other: Embody Microsoft's culture and values.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting.
  • 4+ years of Azure IaaS related experience required, including knowledge of Storage, Networking, Compute, High availability and disaster recovery features for IaaS components.
  • Certification in Microsoft Cloud.
  • Business level fluency in English and Spanish.
