Senior DevOps Engineer - Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead our technology operations and drive the delivery of customer-centric solutions. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting modern distributed systems that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in orchestrating microservices, scaling, resiliency, and performance. They should also possess a strong networking background with an understanding of firewalls, load balancing, routing, etc., as well as Linux Systems Administration skills.
Azure Cloud or other Cloud providers' expertise is highly desirable. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop scalable platform infrastructure and tooling, while maintaining and implementing security processes for code, platforms, and tools.
Responsibilities:
- Deploy modern distributed system technologies for legacy monolith applications and microservices on-premise and in Azure Cloud.
- Automate the entire delivery pipeline including release of all assets, environment provisioning, and production health monitoring.
- Evaluate and implement configuration management and CI/CD tools/frameworks/services.
- Develop scalable platform infrastructure and tooling.
- Maintain and implement security processes for code, platforms, and tools.
Qualifications:
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in orchestrating microservices, scaling, resiliency, and performance.
- Strong networking background with an understanding of firewalls, load balancing, routing, etc.
- Linux Systems Administration skills.
- Ci/Cd Platform experience (Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, Atlassian Bamboo).
- Automation skills via scripting languages (Bash, Python, Powershell, etc.).
- Experience working in Azure Cloud or other Cloud providers.
